Terms of Service

Last updated: 3 July 2026

1. Acceptance

By creating an account or using eplanr ("the Service"), you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. These Terms are a legally binding agreement between you and the operator of eplanr.

2. The Service

eplanr is an AI-assisted event-planning platform. You describe an event — a birthday, wedding, society festival, pooja, kitty party — and eplanr generates a checklist, budget split, guest list, vendor tracker, and timeline. Some features use artificial intelligence; AI-generated output is a starting point, not professional advice. You are responsible for reviewing and verifying all AI-generated content before acting on it.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. By using eplanr, you represent that you meet this requirement.

4. Accounts and authentication

You authenticate via a one-time passcode (OTP) sent to your mobile number. You are responsible for maintaining access to that number and for all activity under your account. If you suspect unauthorised access, contact us immediately at privacy@eplanr.com.

5. Plans and billing

eplanr offers Free, Party, Celebration, and Community plans. Party and Celebration are billed once per event; Community is billed yearly in advance via Razorpay and renews automatically until cancelled. Resources exceeding Free-plan limits become read-only — no data is ever deleted for being over a limit.

See our Refund Policy for cancellations and refunds.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use eplanr to send unsolicited messages, spam, or bulk communications unrelated to a genuine event.
  • Harass, abuse, or threaten guests, vendors, or other users through the platform.
  • Upload unlawful, defamatory, or infringing content.
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or interfere with the Service's infrastructure.
  • Share your account credentials or allow others to access your account.
  • Use the Service to circumvent any applicable law, including the Information Technology Act, 2000.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules, with notice where practicable.

7. Content ownership

You own the event data you create — guest lists, budgets, notes, vendor records. By using the Service, you grant us a limited licence to process that data solely to operate, maintain, and improve eplanr. We never sell your content to third parties.

eplanr and its underlying technology, design, and brand remain our intellectual property.

8. Guest and co-planner data

When you add a guest's name and mobile number, you represent that you have a legitimate reason to share that information with us for the purpose of the event (invitation, RSVP, coordination). You must not upload contact data of people who have no connection to the event. Our handling of guest data is described in our Privacy Policy.

9. AI-generated content

Parts of the Service use AI models provided by third parties (Anthropic, NVIDIA) to generate checklists, budgets, and suggestions. AI output may be incomplete, inaccurate, or unsuitable for your specific event. We do not guarantee the accuracy, reliability, or completeness of any AI-generated content. You assume full responsibility for decisions made based on such output.

10. Third-party services

eplanr integrates with third-party services (Twilio, Razorpay, Google Maps). Your use of those services is governed by their respective terms. We are not liable for outages or issues caused by third-party providers.

11. Disclaimer of warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind — express or implied — including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.

12. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law:

  • eplanr is not liable for vendor performance, event outcomes, or any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service.
  • Our total aggregate liability for any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or ₹5,000, whichever is greater.

13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold eplanr harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your breach of these Terms, your misuse of the Service, or your violation of any law or third-party right.

14. Termination

You may delete your account at any time through in-app support. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms, with notice where practicable. On termination, your right to use the Service ends immediately. Sections 7, 11, 12, 13, and 15 survive termination.

15. Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Surat, Gujarat, India.

16. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms as the Service evolves. Material changes will be announced in-app or by message to your registered mobile number at least 15 days before they take effect. Continued use of eplanr after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
