Guest lists that make sense, and a few things we finally fixed
Custom guest tags, a Run of the Show link on invites, co-planner WhatsApp notifications, venue on the invite card, plus a simplified guest-list model and a round of bug fixes.
New
- Custom guest tags — tap the small + next to your tags to create your own, pick a colour, name it, and it's yours across every event you plan.
- Run of the Show on invites — turn on "Show schedule to guests" in your invitation settings, and guests get a View Schedule link right on their invite card.
- Co-planners now get notified — adding a co-planner sends them a WhatsApp message instantly.
- Venue on the invite card — guests see the venue name and address, with a tap-through to Google Maps.
Improved
- Guest lists, simplified — lists are now just tag-based groupings, with the tag's colour visible on the guest row.
- Tab order that matches how you plan — Venue → Invitation → Guests.
- Invitation photo cropping — center and crop your background image before saving.
- Budget-aware tasks — mark a task "Affects Budget" and we'll prompt an expense entry when it's completed.
- 12-hour time everywhere — all date/time pickers use AM/PM instead of 24-hour.
- "Timeline" is now "Run of the Show" — same tab, a name that says what it is.
Fixed
- Invitation design changes now save reliably.
- You can no longer send invites before your invitation design has been saved.
- Venue details now save correctly.
- Tabs refresh their data when you switch back to them.
- Adding a task with no title shows a clear error.
- The "add co-planner" button shows the right cursor and auto-focuses its input.
- Guest stats now use consistent colours between each number and its label.
- A handful of backend stability fixes — cleaner error responses and chat replies no longer cut off mid-sentence.
